Under the dynamic leadership of the present Nigerian Government (Dr. Goodluck Jonathan), Nigeria is about (to overtake South Africa as the economic giant of the African continent. The recent improvements in the energy sector, coupled with the ongoing privatization of state-owned companies, have created many middle-income families resulting in massive surge of demand for consumer products. This study has been carried out by the Victor I. Chukwuka in partial fulfillment of the requirement(s) for the degree of Masters in International Business Development in Burgundy School of Business - Dijon, France. The research was written by the author who carried out desk research and engaged in various interviews with stakeholders of the consumer products market in Nigeria. The case studies presented reflect the findings, interpretations and conclusions of the author, and are not yet endorsed by the concerned business owners and the general public.
