Daniele De Luigi joined him in his task and together they have made this selection of 100 photographs. This catalogue-book, the first ever based on familiarity with the entire photographic archive of Juan Rulfo, draws on the majority of the genres he cultivated, each one duly weighed: the buildings of Mexico, the country's varied landscapes, small village life, the family and friends -including artists and writers- of Juan Rulfo himself... Two texts by Rulfo are included: one on the two sojourns of Henri Cartier-Bresson in Mexico and another on the Mexican photographer Nacho López.
